Yeezy.
Ye.
Kanye.
When it comes to thinking about Kanye, my first thought is not only his music, but his clothing line. He has no doubt come out with some crazy clothing, and although it may be expensive, we all sit and think ‘do you know what, I bet I could rock it'. I have sat and done that myself, considering the Kanye look on a regular basis, so whilst we're on the subject, here are two of my most favorite looks from Yeezy himself;

First look is going back to 2015 when he launched his first clothing line with Adidas, for a fall/winter collection that stunned the world. The coloring was very basic, such as greens, nudes, black and whites, simple yet perfect for casual wear. Kanye himself was wearing a green hoodie with a t-shirt that matched in color, but was oversized, and paired it with black jeans and pair of his trainers that he had designed too. To many people this just looks plain and simple, and alright it does, but it’s Kanye, and he can make a simple look appear to be so stylish. I actually found inspiration from this look, and now in the fall/winter I like to do the same with a hoodie and a t-shirt.

The second outfit that I chose was from late 2008/early 2009, when Kanye modelled for Louis Vuitton during Paris Fashion Week. Here, he wore a red blazer, matched with grey trousers and paired with black shoes and a suitcase with gloves and sunglasses. Back then, Kanye regularly wore sunglasses, and I feel that they really suited this outfit. The brightness of the red jacket was a very Louis Vuitton trade mark, as the linings of some of their bags have the red in them too, and paired with grey trousers was a clever idea too. The gloves may seem a bit extra but it was worth it as it made the outfit very 'business in New York City on the lead up to Christmas' - a very chic winter look.
So there you have it. The man who started out in music/songwriting is now a fashion designer of his own. He continues to surprise me with his day to day looks, and I do get a lot of inspiration from them. When I dress myself, I tend to get into the mind set of WWKD (what would Kanye do), and I'll try on an outift that I like and don’t care what other people think.
Don’t be a normal person. Be a Kanye.
